A powerful conversation with Ms. Rinku Kalsy, Film-Maker

After my fair share of unpleasant experiences I came to a realization that absolutely nobody or no situation is worth putting yourself through so much negativity or stress. I am the one who has to live with myself so why shall I allow an external stressor, a person, thing or situation, to have such a negative affect on me. The bell peppers she brought were store-bought and were big, beautiful and shiny while my organic ones were small and a little wrinkled. Eventually I did not need to use the extras so I put them in the fridge and 2-3 days later the ones I had bought had shriveled up so I threw them whereas hers were still looking so pretty and guess what…it stayed pretty for a week; then I really started to wonder if that was normal, I mean this is real food which has to go bad and it appeared to be pretty good for a while. So during the course of 2011, I changed my relationship with food..
