A letter to my scanty hair and a product review.
Hey, it’s Ishika. I know that this may seem confusing, but I’m essentially you and you are me, but as I write this letter, I’m an older you. I’m a wiser you. I think I’m a funnier you. I’m definitely a more self-accepting you. I’m writing to you, from the future, to tell you to calm your shit and stop stressing so much about your hair.
I get it. We’ve always had hair-troubles. Trust me, I empathise. But aren’t we already doing everything we know to get hair like we think we deserve? I think we both know that the answer to that question is a big no.
That video we made, the one where we got people around the world to talk about their perception of beauty, watch it more often. If you don’t consider yourself beautiful as you are, does it really matter if someone else does? Less hair, no hair or more hair, remind yourself that you are beautiful.
Well, self, I write bearing good news. The Chilli Oil remedy and daily consumption of Salmon are working, one hair at a time. Continue, consistently. But I think it’s time I break it to you (cause nobody else ever can), you, my dear Ishika, are never going to be eligible for a Dove shampoo advert. Accept it. You are always going to have fine, straight, scanty hair, and no amount of stress is going to change that. So drop it. Quit stressing. It’s really that simple. But wait, I write bearing more good news. Our skin is still radiant – looks like we inherited mum’s genes after all. And from where I’m sitting, it seems like I have more hair on our head than you do.
So a few months ago, Gofybr sent me samples to test out. I guess everyone on the Internet caught on to our plea for more hair. Expectedly, I was hesitant, cause you know with all the allergies and rashes we get, I really did not want to be putting things on our scalp. But after doing some research on the Internet and learning that Gofybr is made of natural cotton fiber, I decided to give it a go. I tested it for about 3 weeks, on and off, and life, as we know it, changed.
Though we are now all about self-acceptance, a little extra hair never hurt nobody. So the next time that pesky scanty patch of hair makes a sneak peak, grab your bottle of Gofybr, sprinkle and pat. Voila! Instant hair. I’ve been using it on date night, photo-shoots and sometimes even to the gym, and not only does it look natural but it’s also so easy to use. Moreover, a lil birdie from the movie business recently told me that even Bollywood stars resort to Gofybr to conceal their receding hairlines. I guess hair woes are not subject to profession after all.
You, my dear self, now have a full head of hair on demand, just like you always dreamed off. Of course, our hair is still fine, straight and never holds a curl, but on the plus side it’s still healthy and silky to the touch. And yes, our boyfriend still runs his fingers through our hair when MasterChef is on.
So, quit stressing Ishika. We got ourselves some Gofybr. Hair Building Fibre
